London's New Year Parade 2007

Started over 20 years ago - the 'New Year’s Day Parade London' has become the biggest event of its kind in the world and boasts a street-side audience of more than a million.

The parade receives a huge amount of international media coverage and has a list of patrons that include Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The route takes in Regent St, Oxford Street, Parliament Square, Piccadilly and Hyde Park.

Raising huge amounts for charity - the 'New Year's Day Parade London' is now part of the 'London Parade Festival', which also comprises a series of concerts and other performances in and around London between Christmas and the New Year.
