
With the first part opening on 10th January 1863 - the London Underground, known as 'The Tube' by Londoners, is an all-electric railway system that covers most of Greater London. It is the world's oldest underground system and is the largest in terms of route length.
The photographs in this section are part of an ongoing project exploring this world famous transport system and include the Docklands Light Railway. Images show stations, passengers, trains, walkways, equipment etc.
